SkyTeam - The Official Airline Alliance for IMEX 2007
With April marking its one-year anniversary, the SkyTeam Global Meetings product continues to allow SkyTeam to assist convention organizers and attendees by streamlining the process of travel arrangement for large-scale international meetings. As the official airline alliance for the IMEX 2007 worldwide exhibition for meetings and incentive travel being held in Frankfurt this month, SkyTeam will ease travel planning for the anticipated 3,000+ attendees coming from around the world with the Global Meetings product, providing simplified registration, booking and discounted airfares.

SkyTeam Global Meetings allows meeting planners access to ten member airlines and nearly 15,000 daily departures to 728 destinations in 149 countries. Meeting planners are able to arrange air travel options for participants regardless of the event location - all through one single point of contact. Event attendees benefit by receiving special travel deals and earning frequent flyer miles on most SkyTeam carriers. In addition, attendees have access to download airport, city and business guides on skyteam.com to better plan their trip. Event organizers also benefit, receiving incentive credits that are redeemable for reward tickets.

SkyTeam Global Meetings is closing its first year on a strong note, having secured partnerships with over 40 events and conferences in 2007 including 3GSM, the Belgrade Fair and the WPA Congress. Building off this momentum and as the official airline alliance of the IMEX 2007 worldwide exhibition and the upcoming International Paris Air Show Le Bourget, SkyTeam will continue to work to serve the needs of the meeting and convention industry.
