SkyTeam, the global airline alliance partnering Aeromxico, Air France, Alitalia, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air, sets itself apart by offering an exclusive experience for all passengers. Here's to Another 35 Years, Korean Air-SkyTeam member Korean Air celebrates its 35th anniversary this month with an ambitious long-term strategy that will enhance customers' experiences and enable Korean to become one of the top passenger and cargo airlines.

Over the next 10 years, KE will invest over USD 9 billion in a three-part vision that encompasses service, operations and technological innovations. In the service area, Korean Air and SkyTeam passengers will see a new cabin environment offering superb in-flight experiences, including a redesign of the interiors and addition of Audio Video on Demand (AVOD). Korean is also introducing First Class "Cocoon" seats and Premium Business class seats. The First Class "Cocoon" seat is an 81-inch long sleeper seat, offering passengers a massage function and a partition that protects their privacy, while the Premium Business Class Seat is an upgraded version of the current Business Class seat, allowing 170 degrees of reclining.

In addition to its long-term business strategy, Korean Air will continue to expand its destination offerings for customers. On May 15, the airline will launch new service from Seoul to Prague, a codeshare flight with SkyTeam partner CSA Czech Airlines that will operate three times weekly on an A330.

Roundtrip to Vietnam, Please-Last month, SkyTeam member Air France and Vietnam Airlines signed a codeshare agreement covering routes between Paris and Hanoi and Paris and Ho Chi Minh City. With this agreement, SkyTeam passengers will enjoy expanded flight options, offering more choices and convenience to destinations around the world.

As of March 28, 2004, the two airlines will jointly offer 11 weekly (12 as of June 27, 2004) non-stop, roundtrip frequencies between France and Vietnam. These flights will be shared between the two airlines.

The five weekly Air France flights, under additional codeshare agreement with Delta, will operate on Airbus A340-300s, equipped with l'Espace Premire (First), l'Espace Affaires (Business) and Tempo (Economy) classes. Delta is placing its code on the Air France segments.

The six weekly Vietnam Airlines flights will operate on Boeing 777-200s equipped with Business, Deluxe Economy and Economy classes.
