SkyTeam Introduces SkyPriority For Top Customers
AMSTERDAM, January 12, 2012 – SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, today announced the introduction of SkyPriority, a series of distinctively branded priority airport services offered to Elite Plus, First and Business Class customers. SkyPriority has been developed to ensure a common and consistent service standard for priority airport services across the alliance. The roll-out of the program will start in March 2012 at selected hubs. SkyPriority will gradually be implemented at 800+ stations in the course of the next few months, reaching over 1,000 airports by early 2013.

SkyTeam Airlines Co-Locate at Beijing Capital International Airport
BEIJING, 14 December, 2011 – SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has unveiled its brand new check-in co-located area at Terminal 2 Beijing Capital International Airport. The new facility brings together Air France, Aeroflot, Alitalia, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Air Lines, Korean Air, KLM and Vietnam Airlines, as part of SkyTeam members’ efforts to collaborate in order to improve customer benefits and deliver a superior SkyTeam experience. This is the first time that SkyTeam, the #1 airline alliance in the Greater China region, has operated out of a common location in China.

Xiamen Airlines Joins SkyTeam
Amsterdam, 17 November – SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, today formally accepted the joining of Xiamen Airlines into the alliance. China’s fifth largest airline, Xiamen Airlines begins the joining process leading to full entry into SkyTeam by the end of 2012, further strengthening the alliance offer in the flourishing southeast China region.
