Bologna G Marconi Airport is Italy´s third most important international
airport and handles about 20 million passengers each year. Located just six
kilometres from Bologna, taxis take passengers into the city centre in 15 minutes.
An Aerobus shuttle service operates between the airport to the main railway station
and takes around 20 minutes.
The airport is situated over three floors. Lifts, stairs and escalators link the
airport´s check-in areas and facilities.
Airport parking
There are several covered and open car parks at Bologna Airport including long- and
short-stay - the first 15 minutes are free for short-stay visitors. The total
parking capacity is 5,100 spaces with extra spaces available in the summer. Valet
parking is also offered and online pre-booking is available from the
airport's website.
