Boston's Logan International Airport is New England's busiest air
hub, flying almost 28 million passengers a year from four terminals. The airport is
three miles northeast of downtown Boston, 15 minutes by bus or seven minutes by
water taxi.
Elevated walkways connect all four terminals through the central garage. From
mid-2007, all four connectors have moving walkways. Free shuttle buses connect the
terminals to the subway, water taxi dock and car parks. Allow 20 minutes to
transfer.
Airport parking
Hourly, daily and economy long-term car parks are available. Walkways connect all
terminals to the central garage. Terminals B and E have additional facilities. A
free shuttle connects the economy parking lot to the terminals. Payment is in
advance at pay stations in cash (no coins) or by credit card. Kerbside parking
outside terminals is forbidden. Drivers meeting arriving flights may wait in the
free cell phone parking lot, five minutes from the terminals, for up to 30
minutes.
