Transport

Bus

The bus station is located on level 0 and has three platforms. Business travellers may want to take advantage of the direct MIVB/STIB bus line running from platform C to NATO headquarters (10 minutes) and then on to Schumann Square and the European Quarter (approximately 40 minutes). There are usually three buses per hour and single tickets cost €3. Bus 272 goes to Brussels North train station from platform A twice an hour for €2.50.

Train

The airport's train station is located on level -1 of the terminal. There are up to four trains an hour connecting the airport to Brussels North, Central and Midi stations. Approximate journey time to Brussels Central is 25 minutes. Single tickets to all Brussels stations cost €2.80. Travellers can also catch direct train services to other parts of Belgium.

Car

Several car rental companies can be found in the arrivals hall. The journey time to central Brussels from the airport varies according to the time of day, taking from 30 minutes to well over an hour.

Taxi

Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals halls. Licensed taxis are easily recognisable by their blue and yellow emblem. The journey into Brussels can take from 30 minutes to an hour. The fare to the centre of Brussels is approximately €35, however, costs vary according to traffic. Tipping is optional, but will be much appreciated.

Coach

The Brussels Airport Express is a coach service connecting the airport to the centre of Antwerp (De Keyserlei) in 45 minutes every day once an hour. The Antwerp Express does the same route in reverse. A single costs €10.
