Shop
Buy books and local or international press from Relay or Press, toys at
Kid's Planet and perfumes from the duty-free shops in Piers A and B.
Delvaux sells luxury Belgian leather goods on Level 0. Stock up on Belgian chocolate
from The Chocolate Company on Pier A or Gourmets located at both piers. A pharmacy,
located on the fourth floor, is open daily from 7am to 7pm.
Eat & Drink
There are plenty of cafés and restaurants throughout the airport. Some are
located before security control, so you can enjoy a meal before checking in. There
are fast food and sandwich places in both piers, but for something special, try the
smart Seafood &Wine Bar in Pier B. There's also
Trattoria (in both piers), serving Italian food on the go. Have a last
Belgian beer before your flight in the Belgian Beer Café (Pier A) or
at the Brussels Café (in the departure hall). The cost of all food
and drink sold at Brussels Airport is slightly more expensive than high-street
prices.
Internet
Wireless high-speed internet access is widely available in all waiting areas
and most of the public areas. You can also use the internet from the
Communication Centre (in the arrivals hall) and Airport Forum.
Print, copy, fax services and payphones are also available at both centres.
Business
The Airport Forum offers a corporate meeting point, a meet-and-greet service
for individuals and groups as well as a taxi and chauffeur service (tel: + 32 (0) 2
714 07 70). A state-of-the-art meeting facility, Skyport Meeting Centre,
offers ten conference rooms which can accommodate up to 80 people. Each are fully
equipped for audio-visual presentations. Secretarial and courier services,
translations and catering can also be arranged upon request (tel: +32 (0) 2 714 02
00).
Family
Essential baby facilities are available through the terminal and several
restaurants will heat up baby food for you. Airlines limit the number of babies on
each flight, please check in advance. Please note that everyone boarding a plane is
required to be in possession of an ID card or passport. This includes small children
and babies.
Unwind
Indulge in a fabulous haircut before you fly at Davidt Hair Line
located on Level 4. Why not treat yourself to a fresh bunch of flowers on
arriving in Brussels? They are sold 24 hours from cooled vending machines on Level
2.
Special Needs
Facilities for the disabled are clearly signposted throughout the terminal. Automatic
doors and ramps provide easy access. Seeing-eye dogs are permitted in
the airport. Those wishing to apply for special assistance must do so by notifying
their airline at least 48 hours prior to their flight.
