The annual Great Gorilla Run features the surreal sight of hundreds of runners in gorilla costumes jogging across the city from the London Underwriting Centre, raising money for the Gorilla Organisation.
There are exactly 720 places for gorilla-suited runners this year - one place for every Mountain gorilla left in the world. If the places are filled, the Great Gorilla Run will break the Guiness World Record for the largest amount of people dressed as gorillas in one place at one time.
Everyone who takes part in the run receives a free gorilla suit and must raise at least £400 in sponsorship. Last year, the furry runners raised £250,000.
