The Museum of London invites budding archaeologists to their free National Archaeology Weekend, which looks at sports and games throughout history via a series of talks, tours and, best of all, family-friendly games and activities.
Painting scenes from gladiatorial games, making your own medieval ice skate, watching medieval bowmen showing off their skills and making a Roman gladiator lamp to take home are just some of the activities on offer.
