Where: Science Museum

Opening Hours: Daily 10am-6pm

Offsetting your carbon emissions when you fly is a good start, and you can find out more about global gas emissions caused by aeroplanes at the Science Museum's Does Flying Cost The Earth? exhibition.

The exhibition on air travel and climate change raises questions such as whether the aviation industry has done enough to offset the impact on global warming caused by rising passenger numbers. How much responsibility lies with us as the passengers?

The exhibition also looks at new technology that aims to make planes more environmentally-friendly and future, greener plane designs.
