Ghost's floaty creations are cut down to cost price at the annual London winter sale in The 20th Century Theatre. It's enough to send bargain hunters into a shopping frenzy.

But the struggle will reap rewards. In addition to the way the clothes look - which is fabulous - they are comfortable to wear, you can throw them into the washing machine and they don't need ironing!

The driving force behind the Ghost Story is Tanya Sarne, whose vision for "real clothes for real women" inspired her collection. The label was founded in 1984 and is now firmly established in international fashion, with branches in London, Los Angeles and New York. Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Helena Bonham-Carter, Cindy Crawford, Anna Friel and Patsy Kensit have all worn Ghost.

Outside the winter sale, Ghost is permanently based at 14 Hinde St, London W1; 36 Ledbury Road, London W11 and 133 Upper Street, London N1.
