Held at the Piccolo Teatro, Parco Sempione and other venues, Milan's annual film festival functions as a talent scout and a distributor in an alternative market. It attracts aspiring filmmakers from all over the world and a cosmopolitan audience.
Since its first edition in 1996, the event has collected more than 10,000 short and feature films, selected and distributed around 350 works and featured workshops and meetings with film professionals, concerts and exhibitions. Its re-distribution project maximises exposure by targeting cinemas, schools, festivals and other institutions worldwide.
