Held at the Piccolo Teatro and the Castello Sforzesco, Milan's annual film festival functions as a talent scout and a distributor in an alternative market, attracting aspiring filmmakers from all over the world and a cosmopolitan audience.
Since its first edition in 1996, the event has collected more than 10,000 short and feature films, selected and distributed more than 350 works and featured side events, workshops and meetings with film professionals, concerts and exhibitions. Its re-distribution project maximises exposure by targeting cinemas, schools, festivals and other institutions throughout the world.
