Milan's La Scala, La Triennale and other prestigious venues host Milano Musica, a festival of contemporary European music, with concerts, meetings with authors and film screenings. Every edition celebrates a different composer.

Director Tetsuji Honna and harpist Naoko Yoshino opened in 2009, while the 2010 edition is dedicated to Hugues Dufourt. Full programme details for this year are released on the festival website from June.
