Every April the Naviglio Grande wharf complex hosts this major flower and gardening exhibition, attracting more than 200 professional "flower-people" - exhibitors, cultivators and retailers - from all over the country.
Exhibitors take great pride in decorating and arranging their stalls to the greatest effect, and the result is a beautiful carnival of flowers, fragrances and colours, cascading along the sides of the historical wharf. Stroll around and peruse at your leisure, and treat yourself to a break from the hectic rhythm of this bustling Italian metropolis.
Visitors can also make use of the local bars and restaurants, as well as the shops, ateliers and studios of local artists, who often sell their works at reasonable prices.
