Dress up for a big New Year's Eve party at Milan's favourite club Alcatraz. No heavy techno or violent hard-core house here, only great tunes from the best years of pop and disco...pretty much a ladies' paradise you would think. This major Milanese music venue sports a heavy post-industrial techno-fortress look, reminiscent of a construction site and a more than adequate venue for some of its acts, which include death metal and 'borderline' speed metal (borderline to what, we wonder...), as well as rock, Fifties swing, commercial house and techno, and Sixties to Eighties retro-revival music. Not a goth night on the 31st, Alcatraz will trade darkness for glitter, to seduce you and get you dancing til the early hours of 2002.
