Take time out from busy urban Milan and pay a visit to Castellazzo di Bollate for the annual Villa Arconati festival of music.
Every June/July, the estate provides the perfect backdrop to this summer music festival, which has run since 1985. Although initially dedicated to classical music, it now welcomes a variety of genres.
In 2008 the line-up includes Daniele Silvestri (27 June), Cat Power - Camille (2 July) and Richard Galliano - Caceres (17 July).
Please note that the date for the final concert by Baustelle is yet to be confirmed, so the festival could end a few days either side of 26 July, the announced preliminary date. Full programme details are published on the festival website when they are available.
