Useful tips
Before leaving Tokyo, make sure to check the train or bus timetables, as departure times
for the airport can be irregular. Also be aware of which terminal you depart from. All
buses and trains stop at both terminals and it can get confusing. Few Japanese banks
accept foreign ATM cards, and many close on public holidays such as Christmas,
New Year and Golden Week (29 April, 3,4 and 5 May 2008). Look out for CitiBank ATMs at
the airport. They accept international cards and remain open all year, and until 11pm
nightly. For instant valet service when you drive to the airport, call 10 minutes
before reaching the airport.
