SKYTEAM UNVEILS SLEEK NEW WEB SITE

New York –December 15, 2008 – Consistent with SkyTeam’s “Caring More About You” philosophy, today the airline alliance launched a redesigned version of its Web site, www.skyteam.com. The new customer-centered Web design aims to create an intuitive user experience that quickly delivers visitors the content they need from SkyTeam. SKYTEAM LAUNCHES MILEAGE UPGRADE PROGRAM

November 13, 2008 – SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, today announced the launch of the SkyTeam Mileage Upgrades program. SkyTeam Frequent Flyers on international flight itineraries can now use their miles to upgrade to Business class on most SkyTeam member airlines.

TAROM Signs an Agreement with SkyTeam to Join the Alliance as Associate Airline

BUCHAREST, Romania, May 7, 2008 — SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, today signed a SkyTeam Alliance Associate Adherence Agreement (SAAAA) agreement with the Romanian airline TAROM, indicating the airline is on the track to join the alliance as an Associate airline. As part of the process, TAROM must meet a set of predetermined requirements, in areas such as operations, technologies and products, in order to ensure that its quality of service standards and operating performance are in line with those of SkyTeam Member airlines.

In September 2007, SkyTeam welcomed Air Europa, Copa Airlines and Kenya Airways as the alliance's first official Associate carriers. The SkyTeam Associate Program caters to carriers in strategic regions who are interested in becoming affiliated with SkyTeam and its alliance benefits. Passengers traveling with an Associate carrier receive the same benefits offered to passengers traveling with the 11 current SkyTeam member airlines, including frequent flyer programs and improved access to airport lounges.

LONDON, March 11, 2008 — As SkyTeam carriers plan new service and operational relocation to Terminal 4 at London Heathrow International Airport (LHR), the alliance is augmenting its customer-focused presence at LHR - including the previously announced co-location project - with plans for the first co-branded SkyTeam alliance lounge. The lounge project is unique to the alliance in that for the first time, the design for the space is being determined jointly by all ten member or associate airlines serving or planning to serve Heathrow (Aeroflot, Air France, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air and Northwest Airlines).
