It’s a Wrap! SkyTeam recaps 2016

The end of December means it’s time to reflect on what you’ve achieved over the past 12 months and make plans for what you want to accomplish the following year. 

As SkyTeam wraps up a busy and successful 2016, here are a few of our highlights:

SkyTeam was named Alliance of the Year 2016 for the second consecutive year by Air Transport News and won silver in the annual Research Effectiveness Awards 2016 by ESOMAR – demonstrating the progress we’ve made so far is being recognised by travellers and industry experts.

In May we opened Dubai lounge and Beijing lounge is in its final stages before opening its doors to customers.  With these two new lounges, we now have six SkyTeam-branded lounges. Plus customers can enjoy more than 670 lounges around our global network.

Prioritized Customers:

With SkyPriority services available at more than 1,000 destinations, SkyTeam launched its industry-leading SkyPriority Audit App, inviting feedback from top frequent fliers regarding their SkyPriority experiences. We are using this valuable input to further enhance the customer experience.

Our Flight Attendant photo shoot in California’s Mojave Desert, perfectly captured the glamourous elegance of our members’ uniforms and the spirit of togetherness and friendship that exists across SkyTeam.

Made travel more rewarding:

Our Retro-Crediting and Multi-Carrier-Award-Booking tools make it easier for Frequent Flyers to claim their miles or use them to book reward travel across several member airlines. These will be fully available for all SkyTeam carriers’ frequent flyers in 2017.

In addition to being optimized for use on mobile devices, the fresh, new site is packed with easy-to-use tools to help customers plan their trips and take off with all the latest airport tips and flight information. Check it out: skyteam.com
