Larrea succeeds Laura Abraham and joins SkyTeam from member Delta Air Lines, where he spent more than 16 years driving major initiatives in commercial and distribution technology, digital innovation and customer experience. Originally from Córdoba, Argentina, his career has spanned Japan, Mexico and the United States, giving him a global perspective on airline operations and customer experience.
In his new role, Larrea will oversee SkyTeam’s central Digital & IT organization, closely collaborating with member airlines to advance innovation and digital strategies that enhance connectivity, efficiency and the customer journey in global aviation.
“With Diego aboard, we will strengthen our digital capabilities in ways that matter most to our members and travelers. His leadership comes at a pivotal moment, as SkyTeam marks its 25th anniversary and embarks on the next chapter. With Diego’s guidance and vision, we will continue to invest in shared technology that connects our alliance, delivers value for every member and creates an even more seamless customer experience. As we welcome Diego, I would also like to thank Laura Abraham for her contributions to SkyTeam and wish her all the best for the future.”
