Landed in Trinidad and Tobago the Alitalia cargo flight with Covid-19 vaccines

The Alitalia Cargo Boeing 777 loaded with Covid-19 vaccines landed yesterday in Port of Spain Piarco International Airport.

The flight departed Milan Malpensa in the morning transporting to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago 800.000 doses of vaccine from China, a significant batch to support the country vaccination campaign.

The flight was greeted on arrival by the Health and Foreign ministers together with the Chinese Ambassador to T&T.

Alitalia, SkyTeam Cargo alliance member, confirms its specialization in shipping pharmaceuticals along with its commitment in distributing the vaccine worldwide, through its IATA CEIV Pharma (Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics) certified professionals and a consolidated cooperation with major logistics partners around the world.
