Sky-high sounds and tunes for travel, SkyTeam launches Spotify playlists

SkyTeam sounds are taking off with a series of three special Spotify playlists carefully curated to put customers on cloud nine as they cross the alliance’s global network.

Whether they want to unwind in one of SkyTeam’s 750 airport lounges or chill at altitude, customers can enjoy a soundtrack for every step of their journey featuring some of the best tunes for travel. With 20 tracks per playlist, highlights include:

Born To Fly
A trip down memory lane, this list of classic rock, jazz and pop features iconic songs to inspire wanderlust. Upbeat tunes include ELO’s ‘Mr Blue Sky’, John Denver’s ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’, and ‘The Passenger’ by Iggy Pop.

Cloud Surfing
This laid-back, eclectic mix of indie rock, neo jazz, house and electronic / downtempo features high-flying hits to enjoy from the sky. Songs include ‘Social Jetlag’ by Beach Fossils, ‘Window Seat’ by Erykah Badu and ‘Golden’ by global phenomenon, Harry Styles.

Layover Lounge
Perfect tunes to help you relax, unwind and let time fly by while you wait for your flight. This global mix of classic and modern jazz features chilled-out tunes including ‘Jusqu’ici tout va bien’ by Okvsho, Tarika Blue’s ‘Dreamflower’ and ‘Modinha’ by Teus Nobel.
