SkyPriority offers select customers a series of specialized in-airport services – such as priority check-in, baggage drop-off and boarding – that will make their alliance-wide travel easier, faster and more convenient.

SkyTeam is dedicated to delivering the best possible products and services to the customer. SkyPriority is one part of our on-going effort to improve your travel experience. By increasing consistency at airports, we make travel faster and more convenient for our customers.

As a SkyTeam Elite Plus member or a First/Business Class passenger on a SkyTeam-operated flight, you are entitled to SkyPriority services at participating airports. These include:

  • Priority Check-In

  • Priority Baggage Drop-Off

  • Priority Security Lanes (where available)

  • Priority Boarding

  • Priority Baggage Handling

  • Priority Ticket Office Service

  • Priority Immigration (at select locations)

Look for red SkyPriority signage at each touchpoint. Services may vary slightly depending on the airport or local regulations, but the aim is to offer a seamless and expedited airport experience for our most valued customers.

SkyPriority benefits are exclusively reserved for SkyTeam Elite Plus members and customers traveling in First or Business Class on a SkyTeam-operated international flight.

SkyTeam Elite members (the lower tier) do not receive SkyPriority access unless they are flying in an eligible premium cabin. If you are unsure of your status, please check with your frequent flyer program to confirm whether you are Elite or Elite Plus.

SkyTeam Elite Plus members and customers with First and Business Class tickets are eligible for SkyPriority.

Yes, SkyPriority is available at most airports within SkyTeam its global network. However, not all benefits may be available at every location (e.g. SkyPriority security/immigration).

SkyPriority is applicable for all flights operated by SkyTeam carriers. This includes the SkyTeam carriers own regional carriers and affiliates, which fly under the same code of the SkyTeam carrier e.g. KLM Cityhopper or Delta Connection.

The services offered by SkyPriority are not available for purchase. SkyPriority is a special travel service that can be utilized by customers with First and Business Class tickets and SkyTeam ElitePlus members regardless of their cabin of service.

SkyPriority is available at most airports within SkyTeam its global network. However, not all benefits may be available at every location (e.g. SkyPriority security/immigration).

If you are eligible for SkyPriority, you will now find distinctly branded priority service areas. All you need to do is follow the SkyPriority signage. So, regardless of your airline or frequent flyer program, SkyPriority will speed and guide you through your journey with ease.

Elite benefits, as shown on each carrier website and on SkyTeam.com remain unchanged and therefore you are entitled to the same services as before.

SkyPriority benefits come on top of your Elite benefits. While your current Elite status does not provide you with automatic access to the expanded services of SkyPriority, these services are available should you upgrade to or purchase a First or Business Class ticket.

While SkyTeam Elite Plus benefits are standardized across the alliance, recognition depends on whether your frequent flyer number is correctly included in the booking and transmitted to the operating carrier. If:

  • You booked through a third party or used a different airline’s loyalty number,

  • The check-in or boarding system didn’t update your status in real time,

  • Or the carrier’s system is not yet fully integrated with your frequent flyer program (e.g., recent alliance members), then your status may not appear or be recognized for priority benefits.

To avoid this, always ensure your Elite Plus frequent flyer number is correctly entered in the booking and visible on your boarding pass. If in doubt, request manual correction at check-in or during online check-in.
