SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has named Patrick Roux as its new CEO/Managing Director, effective 1 October 2022. An industry veteran with more than 30 years’ experience, Patrick joins SkyTeam from the Air France-KLM Group, where he spent the last 15 years working at executive levels across key roles covering strategic and operational leadership, most recently as Senior Vice President Alliances.
SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, and Virgin Atlantic have today announced that the UK airline will join as SkyTeam’s newest member in early 2023. Virgin Atlantic will become SkyTeam’s first and only UK member airline, enhancing the alliance’s transatlantic network and services to and from Heathrow and Manchester Airport.
