Delta Cargo has earned the highest status for participation in a global industry-wide program designed to standardize and improve revenue and performance processes. Delta Cargo is the first and only U.S. carrier to earn Platinum status in the industry’s Cargo 2000 initiative, a program of agreed business and automation standards introduced for cargo carriers by the International Air Transport Association. Delta also is the only U.S. carrier to sit on the Cargo 2000 Board of Directors. Cargo 2000, or C2K, is a voluntary program that defines standards for cargo documentation, handling and training and actively promotes their adoption and use by the air cargo industry.
