AMSTERDAM, 6 May 2024:  SkyTeam confirms that at 06:30 on 14 April a small fire broke out in a light fitting in the ceiling of the area outside the SkyTeam Lounge in Istanbul Airport. SkyTeam closed the Lounge for repairs, which have now been completed. The facility is ready to open, subject to final inspection by the airport authorities. 

AMSTERDAM/STOCKHOLM, 29 April 2024: Today marks an exciting milestone as SkyTeam and SAS have officially signed an Alliance Adherence Agreement (AAA), serving as an important step toward SAS’ official entry into the global airline alliance. From 1 September 2024, SAS will officially become a part of SkyTeam.
