SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has tripled the number of self-service kiosks available to customers traveling from Tokyo’s Narita International Airport. Passengers can now use one of 90 SkyTeam-branded, common-use kiosks to check in, offering an even more convenient airport experience. Kiosks are prominently positioned in the lobby area and throughout piers A-F at the airport’s Terminal 1 North.
SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, will welcome Garuda Indonesia as its 20th member on March 5, 2014. The national airline of Indonesia, Garuda will become SkyTeam’s second member from Southeast Asia.

This summer SkyTeam is offering 26,833 weekly flights to, from and within the Greater China region, an increase of 26% in frequencies over last year. SkyTeam, which has four airlines from the region: China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern and Xiamen Airlines, has grown its Greater China network by 50% over five years and now has presence in 147 cities operated by its members.

A new SkyPriority fast-track security lane has opened at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport, offering SkyTeam’s premium customers a speedier airport experience from checking-in to boarding the plane. The dedicated security lane is located behind an easily identifiable, SkyPriority-branded wall. Available exclusively to Elite Plus, First and Business Class customers flying from Terminal 1-North, it is one of a number of benefits available as part of SkyTeam’s alliance-wide SkyPriority initiative: red carpet treatment for top customers.
SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, is launching a fare promotion for customers planning a Round the World trip in 2013. With 1,000 destinations to choose from, globetrotters can take advantage of a 10% discount off SkyTeam’s lowest economy class Round the World fare. The promotion is valid on tickets of up to 26,000 miles purchased from 1 February until 31 March 2013. Tickets must be purchased seven days in advance of travel.
