SYDNEY, 30 January 2015 – SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has formally opened its new Lounge at Sydney Airport. The alliance’s presence in the Australian market has been growing steadily and now offers over 80 weekly departures from Sydney International Airport operated by China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines.
The third lounge in SkyTeam’s global network, the Sydney lounge is designed in SkyTeam’s trademark sleek and modern style. It offers a luxurious and spacious environment to relax pre-flight with sweeping airport views and the iconic ‘green botanical Wall’ adding a breath of fresh air. Key features and amenities include:

The lounge is available to Elite Plus, First and Business Class passengers flying on any of the seven SkyTeam airlines serving the airport. SkyTeam Lounge will be managed by lounge industry leader, Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited on behalf of the alliance.
Other Lounge Services
In addition to the SkyTeam lounges in London’s Heathrow Airport and Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport, passengers also have access to the over 620 lounges offered by the 20 members worldwide.
Recently the alliance launched a Lounge finder tool available on www.skyteam.com and on SkyTeam App that enables customers locate any of the lounges globally with ease. Amenities, location and hours of operations are some of the information the tool provides to the passengers.
